The 2019 vintage in coastal Tuscany is regarded as excellent, marked by a relatively cool spring and a warm, stable summer with significant day–night temperature variation. These conditions allowed for slow, even ripening, resulting in wines with precision, aromatic intensity and refined structure. Syrah, in particular, benefited from the long growing season, achieving both ripeness and freshness.
Deep ruby with purple reflections. Aromas of blackberry, dark cherry and plum are layered with black pepper, violet and Mediterranean herbs, alongside hints of smoked meat and spice. The palate is full-bodied and structured, delivering ripe dark fruit, cocoa and savoury notes framed by firm, fine-grained tannins. Fresh acidity provides balance and lift, leading to a long, persistent finish with peppery spice and mineral nuances. A powerful yet elegant expression of coastal Tuscan Syrah.
