Philipponnat’s 2015 Clos des Goisses Juste Rosé makes an immediate impression with its remarkably deep color, achieved by blending 28% rosé de saignée into the white base. Built on a blend of 84% Pinot Noir and 16% Chardonnay—with roughly 71% vinified in oak—it opens with vivid aromas of pomegranate, pink grapefruit, and fresh cherry. The palate is broad, powerful, and deeply textured, carrying a rich core of fruit backed by bright, energetic acidity that flows into a long, subtly phenolic finish. Reaching an impressive 12.1% potential natural alcohol at harvest, this is a structured, gastronomic Champagne tailor-made for dishes like tuna or red meats. Disgorged in March 2025 with the house's signature 4.5 g/L dosage.
