The Story

La Mission Haut Brion is situated in Bordeaux' southern suburb, Talence. From 1919 and until 1983, it was Woltner family, who had owned this property. Written Notes

Tasted three times. Consistent notes. Contains 55% Merlot, 42% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Cabernet Franc. This was a very distinguished and sophisticated wine with silky tannins and silky texture. Great intensity and aroma of blueberry fruit. An exceptional piece of wine work. Good for keeping 20-25 years in the cellar.

Ruby, garnet rim. Richer nose, subdued perfumed notes behind Pessac- minerals, cassis and coffe notes. Fresh acidity, towards high of ripe tannins. Elegant would be pulling it but has a charm in its youthful roughness. Very long but needs another decade in the cellar.
