Written Notes

Tasted in September 2019. Classic and elegant wine with splendid structure, fat fruit and tannin. Strikingly excellent complexity. Slightly modern in style with very energetic appeal. Great tasty and long finish. Stupendous effort.

Dark purple red colour with violet hue and almost black core. Complex aroma reminiscent of dark fruits, e.g. blackcurrants and elderberries, vanilla, roasting aroma, hints of minerality. and mild spices. Subtle oak with a hint of cocoa in the background. On the palate perfectly built with powerful character, yet elegant style with multi-layered flavour, roasting aroma, fine minerality, sweet tannins and excellent length, a wine with complexity, mineral freshness, savoury taste and great character
