Léoville Poyferré has 80 hectares of vineyards planted with Cabernet Sauvignon (65%), Merlot (25%), Petit Verdot (8%) and Cabernet Franc (2%).

Dark purple colour with violet hue and black core. Complex nose with aroma reminiscent of blackcurrants and blackberries, juicy plums, hints of blackcurrant spurs and cherry jam, mild spices and refined toasting in the background. On the palate well structured and balanced with excellent depth and length, ripe tannins, fine acidity, freshness and great flavour expression quoting the nose. A great Léoville.
