Written Notes

Dark purple colour with violet hue and black core. Opulent nose with intense fruit reminiscent of Morello cherries, black cherries and damson fruit, blackcurrants and blackberries. In the background fine toasting, mild spices and pencil shavings. On the palate very promising and opulent style, ripe tannins, fine acidity, great freshness, the fruit quoting the nose. In the background elegant spices and hints of aromatic herbs.

potent, concentrated redcurrants, coffee beans, and tobacco leaves on the nose, splendid on the palate with vibrancy and energy, refined, silky tannin, superb structure and complexity. Long and persistent finish. Excellent effort. 94p.
