Léoville Poyferré has 80 hectares of vineyards planted with Cabernet Sauvignon (65%), Merlot (25%), Petit Verdot (8%) and Cabernet Franc (2%).

Deep ruby. Scented, plums, blackberries, vanilla, ripe nose. Fresha cidity, ripe tannins, fruity, richer, rounder, fullbodied for tje vintage, grippy finish, long. 90-92

Dark purple red with violet hue and black centre. Opulent and complex nose with distinct berryfruit, blackcurrants, blackberries, gingerbread spices and elegant toasting. On the palate excellent length, very elegant and persistant yet with powerful character and complex finish.
