The Story

Château Pichon Longueville de Lalande is ideally situated between the Gironde estuary and the Atlantic Ocean. What an excellent example of great terroir. This wine shows a serious backbone thanks to the Cabernet Sauvignon, but also a silky texture from the Merlot, while the Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot bring a nice spicy complexity to the blend. On the palate there is an outstanding length, which finishes off with well-polished tannins. Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande it’s one of the best wines of the 2014 Bordeaux vintage! Drinking window 2021-2045. Blend: 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc and 6% Petit Verdot.
