Written Notes

Tasted in August 2019. I was surprised how well this vintage showed when compared to 2000! Potent with lot of tasty fruit and ripe tannin, complex and fresh, fine complexity and length. Smooth and fruity finish. Fabulous effort, no doubt about it!

  • 94p

Dark purple red colour with garnet red hue. Opulent nose with complex approach, blackberries and blackcurrants, black cherries, liquorice and smoked bacon. On the palate well structured with firm tannins, well concentrated finish.
