2020 Valandraud Blanc
MAY 21 Pale lemon yellow. Apples, lemons, vanilla, some smoky notes nose. Tight. Fresh acidity, apples, lemons, citrus, fruit driven, intense and layered, long. 92-94

  • 94p

Bright yellow colour with green hue. Opulent nose with expressive aroma reminiscent of cloudberries, pineapple and granadilla, hints of grapefruit zest and aromatic herbs in the background, subtle oak with a hint of vanilla. On the palate well structured with creamy texture, fine acidity, expressive flavour or ripe tropical and citrus fruit, subtle oak with discreet toasting flavour and hints of vanilla. A great wine with freshness, depth and excellent length.
