Written Notes

Tasted five times - last time in August 2019. Consistent notes. Great nose of black cherries (cérise noir) and blackberries, strong backbone, fabulous structure, great concentration and length. Very elegant wine with finesse. First vintage made entirely by Murielle Thunevin.

  • 94p

Intense purple red colour with garnet red hue. Smoky nose, ripe berries and hints of mild spices, on the palate sweet fruit, well made with a good balance and depth. Smooth tannins and fine acidity.

  • 94p

Moderately intense purple red colour. Rich and big Napa Cab-like nose. Toasty and smoky notes with charming dark chocolate and cacao aromas. Full-bodied rich palate. Toasty and spicy with loads of ripe black fruits. Long and lingering finish with good acidic freshness. Drinking well already but will evolve for next 5-7 years. Decant for 2 hours and serve at 17-18C with big medium rare steaks. JL 93p. (2/2019)
