1999 l'Artiste Nose starts out muted but fresh with golden apples, hints of lime and elderflower and has an herb/green note to it that ads to the depth. Lime and lemon skins as well as some nuttiness and minerality. Develops quickly with air and gets o bit cheesy. Nice nose. Full bodied, very powerful attack with great grip and flavors of golden apples with lovely toasty edge. Still quite youthful and very focused for the vintage. Lime, lemons and lots lots of minerals. Lovely texture and length Drink now-2019 92p.
