This was never a great Graham, but it's outstanding quality nonetheless. Medium ruby-red. Aromas of milk chocolate, plum, mint and violet. Full-bodied, with medium sweetness and lots of berry and cherry fruit. Very fruity and fresh. Long and lively. Delicious now, but will improve. Drink now through 2018. Score: 91/100

Beautifully harmonious and well balanced, this excellent Vintage will make very good drinking between 2000 and 2005, although it has the potential to continue developing in bottle for many years more. The 1977 is considered one of the very finest Vintages of the second half of the 20th Century. The Graham’s 1977 is widely regarded as being second to none.
