Terra di Monteverro benefits from the same care and attention to detail as our “Premier Cru“. It is a Cuvée assembled from the same grape varieties as Monteverro and boasts the same characteristics. It possesses all the qualities of our magnificent terroir and has the distinction of being engagingly approachable, with an impressive structure, harmony and intensity.
The 2020 vintage in coastal Tuscany was warm yet balanced, with a relatively mild spring and a steady, sun-filled summer. Timely rainfall and cooling maritime influences helped preserve freshness in the grapes, while allowing for full ripening. The wines from 2020 tend to show generous fruit, supple tannins and early approachability, combined with good balance and structure.
Deep ruby with purple reflections. Aromas of ripe blackberry, black cherry and plum are layered with notes of Mediterranean herbs, cedar and sweet spice. The palate is medium- to full-bodied, offering lush dark fruit, cocoa and a touch of vanilla framed by smooth, rounded tannins. Balanced acidity provides freshness, leading to a supple, polished finish with lingering savoury and mineral nuances. A generous and approachable Tuscan blend with immediate appeal.
