The Story

The result of rigorous selection at each stage of production, in both the vineyard and the winery, this great, predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon wine is typical of the Saint-Estèphe appellation. Structured and tannic but with all the elegance and refinement of a Grand Cru Classé, with time it develops a delicate and complex bouquet.

Spring was early, and the weather maintained fair and hot from April to June. Therefore, the blossoming took place in June (the mid-blossoming in June 5th) with no coulure nor millerandage due to the excellent climatic conditions. Written Notes

Dense and deep colour. The rich nose is and complex, displaying aromas of black fruits, liquorice, pepper, smoke, tobacco and prune.
Long and neat on the palate, delivering notes of ripe grapes, prune, and tobacco.
The wine is harmonious, fine, light with a beautiful texture of ripe grapes
If the palate is harmonious, long, and soft, the finish is on the other hand, a little short with a tinge of bitterness

In the neck fill. Ruby, brick rim. Mature nose. figs, cherry-stone, prunes, leather, slightly perfumed, cigars, complex and lively nose. Fresh acidity, tannins soon gone, alive and kicking, but drink very soon. Good length.
