Written Notes

Promising richness on the nose, lovely silky palate calm and generous,

good potential. Oaky ripe tannins. This is always a lighter more

charming Saint -Julien; it has a little more backbone this year. 91-93/100

2013- 2035

  • 93p
Dark purple red with violet hue and almost black core. Opulent nose with ripe fruit, dark chocolate and almost smoky character. On the palate well structured with convincing length, ripe tannins and elegant fruit in the finish.
  • 94p
Medium deep colour. Intense plum cassis, praline aromas with herb notes. Well concentrated and vibrantly fresh with plum inky flavours, fine grainy touch al dente textires and plenty of mocha vanilla oak. Finishes chocolaty firm with attractive sweet fruit, inky, chinotto notes. 93 points
