Laurent-Perrier has chosen to make vintages very rarely, only selecting the very best years. This makes Laurent-Perrier Vintage a rare and outstanding wine that clearly expresses the specific character of a year albeit in the Laurent-Perrier style.

Written Notes
Perhaps the best and most elegant ordinary vintage champagne ever from Laurent-Perrier. There is even the "clean sheets tone" of Grand Siècle in this wine. The mineral tones are very much to the fore and are integrated with toasted bread and a pure, flowery Chardonnay. Typical of the house and the only thing to do is to stock up with a lot in the cellar.
Greenish. Quite rich and broad, almost more like a ‘95 on the nose. As tightly knit as the socks round the bottles, a dense skein of flavour – very promising when allied to the charming nose. Still only half open. Medium length.
Medium-deep lemon gold colour. Nicely eveolved toasty nose with ripe apple on the background. Charred pleasant charancter, smooth, easygoing and gentle, delightful. Gunpowder.
