Perrier-Jouet Blason de France 1964
Open, developed and toasty nose with orange marmalade, roasted nuts, Danish pastry and caramelized apples. Lovely mature nose that ads a little bit of mushroom and wet leaf notes.
Full and very smooth palate with perfectly mature mousse and gorgeous flavors of caramelized apples and orange skins, roasted nuts, Danish pastry, fresh tobacco, toasted rye bread. Long, lively finish with a touch of mature sweetness and refreshing acidity. Very good!
