The Story

Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque is the original Belle Epoque vintage cuvée, first appearing in 1964. Instantly recognisable throughout the world, its bottle is adorned with the graceful spray of Japanese white anemones created for Maison Perrier-Jouët by Art Nouveau master Emile Gallé in 1902.

Written Notes

Light orange with exceptional mousse. Fantastically delicate, complex nose where the flower, fruit, and honey aromas fight for ascendancy. A well-balanced, elegant taste. Light to medium-bodied, with hints of peach, apricot, cotton candy, and “vaniljdrömmar”—small, white, porous, vanilla-butter cookies that melt in your mouth. Typical—and outstanding—house- style. Unfortunately, there are a few tired bottles in circulation.
