Written Notes

After the reds, we sampled three whites. La Clarté de HB, rated at 92 points, was fresh and energetic. La Mission HB scored 97+ points, boasting great minerality and a wide array of aromas. Haut Brion, rated 98-99 points, exhibited power, tightness, and richness.

Fruit driven, apples, peach, nuanced, minerals, bright, detailed nose, quite intense.  Fresh acidity, peach, apples, minerals, nuanced, detailed, bright, intense, layered, long finish.

Bright yellow colour with green hue. Aromatic and complex nose with aroma reminiscent of ripe peaches, blackcurrants spurs, hints of granadilla and tangerine. White lilies in the background. On the palate excellent structure and tension with freshness and distinct minerality. Multi-layered fruit and discreet spiciness, creating a taste with excellent depth and length.
