The Story

This wine made history when it became one of the earliest single-vineyard bottlings of Nebbiolo in Piedmont with the 1967 vintage. Written Notes

Good looking normal size bottle. Colour is ruby red, and looking dark and medium. On the nose it is youthful, intense, complex, refined and ripe. The taste is vivid, refined, firm, focused, with drying tannins, and average in acidity, medium-bodied, with balanced, well-structured, concentrated structure and youthful. On the palate it is layered and has blackberry, floral, blueberry, raspberry, smoky and violet flavours. The finish is long and spicy. This wine is fine. Perfectly stored bottles are still very worthy and will last well for another 10-15 years and decant at least 2h before tasting.
