“A Hundred Legends in the Glass”
Helsinki became the stage for one of the most ambitious wine events ever hosted by Tastingbook. Fifty of the world’s greatest estates, each represented by two remarkable vintages, were poured side by side and tasted blind.
There are wine tastings, and then there are moments when time itself bends, when decades and continents converge in a single room. In Helsinki, over two extraordinary days, sixteen tasters from nine countries gathered not for just another tasting, but for a pilgrimage: one hundred of the world’s greatest wines, poured side by side, blind, their secrets waiting in the glass.
By the final glass, there was no doubt: this was more than a tasting. It was a dialogue across centuries, between terroirs and winemakers, between history and the present moment. These wines were not just great—they were living testaments to what wine at its very best can be: art, memory, and soul captured in a bottle.
Here are a few of the wine pairings tasted; the full lineup is available on Tastingbook.
