Dark purple colour with violet hue and black core. Excellent nose with multi-layered character, ripe blackcurrants, blackberries and elderberries, subtle oak, hints of vanilla and dark chocolate, fine toasting and mild spices in the background. A discreet floral character is showing up after some time in the glass. On the palate well structured and balanced with ripe tannins and fine acidity, persistent with tension and excellent length.
