Sourced exclusively from Pommery’s historic, walled 25-hectare single vineyard (clos) surrounding the domaine in Reims, this rare single-site release (a classic blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier) showcases the remarkable terroir precision of one of Champagne's most famous enclosed vineyards.
The nose is elegant, fragrant, and chalk-driven, opening with aromas of fresh green apple, white peach, and grapefruit zest, layered over subtle autolytic nuances of warm brioche, blanched almonds, acacia flowers, and a distinct line of wet-chalk minerality. On the palate, the wine enters with a bright, silky mousse and a fine, linear structure. The mid-palate delivers a focused core of lemon curd, orchard fruit, and subtle pastry spice, held together by a crisp, energetic line of citrus acidity that gives the wine exceptional clarity and posture. It closes on a long, bone-dry, and salivary finish, leaving a lingering trail of lime pith, chalky salinity, and delicate roasted nuttiness.
