Written Notes

Not as refreshing as the '41 more characterized by old vintage tones in looks, bouquet, and flavor. The color is reminiscent of Tawny and the mousse is weak. Still, the wine held its own in the glass and the depth and richness was impressive. The wine was a perfect complement to reading a good book in a lounge chair in front of the fireplace.
