The Story
The chateau makes three different wines. The so-called grand vin, that is Château Latour itself, a second wine called Les Forts de Latour and a third wine simply called Pauillac. The end of July was quite hot, and the first half of August, despite being rather wet, still brought decent temperatures. These last 2 months were better than in 1957 and far superior to 1956.
