A perfect illustration of Maison Henriot’s mastery of the assemblage, this cuvee is composed in equal parts of pinot noir and chardonnay, conferring elegance on its complex structure. Produced with respect for family tradition, this cuvee - which comes exclusively from Champagne’s Grands Crus - is made only in exceptional years.

One of the most magnificent wine experiences I have been through and probably the most delicious wine I had drunk in the last five years. Very reminiscent of Veuve Clicquot surreal 1955 vintage magnum. It has a spring-chirping sensual appropriation embedded in silk and caresses the soul as the sweetest love. While the wine is monumental and rich as a meal in itself. Another soulmate is actually the 1959 vintage from Billecart-Salmon who won the Millennium tasting..
Henriot Cuvée Enchanteleurs 1959
Magnum deg. 2011
Big and open nose that start out with tropical fruit, apples, apple sauce, vanilla, pastry, rapeseed oil, hay, herbs, mint and with air ads more toffee, caramel and coffee notes. Fantastic nose!
This is a full bodied, smooth and very intense beast of Champagne that delivers a massive and opulent palate at first with a core of tropical fruit and apples, surrounded by mint and pastry notes. With air the palate develops more grip and minerality that balances the big fruit and ads finesse and complexity to the very long finish that sings with coffee and caramel notes as well as a grippy minerality. A hedonistic wine that echos of perfect old school Champagne. Stunning!
