Vintage 2015

Full report of Bordeaux 2015 by Andrew Caillard MW “Next in line in a great series of vintages; 2000, 2005, 2009, 2010 and 2015.

Written Notes

Tasted in November 2021. Fragrant cherries and blackcurrants, bright acidity and well-assorted. Complex with a long finish. Splendid effort.

  • 92p
Dark purple red with violet hue and almost black core. Elegant and expressive nose, restrained fruit, blackcurrants and hints of elderberries. Mild spices and a hint of vanilla in the background. On the palate well structured with ripe and velvety tannins, excellent length, depth and succulent fruit in the finish.
  • 94p
Medium deep colour. Dark cherry, dark plum aromas, plush inky flavours, fine slinky grainy textures and attractive mineral length. Really juicy wine. Impressive bitter sweet dark chocolate notes. 94 points
