Written Notes

Medium colour. Lovely developed apricot, wax polish, hint chinotto aromas with hints of praline/ graphite. Fresh apricot, wax polish, chinotto flavours, fine looseknit chalky tannins, attractive inky notes and fresh long mineral acidity. Light tannin plume at the finish. Gorgeous old wine with earthy notes. Shows the natural power of the vineyard. Drink now – soon 98 points

Their penultimate bottle. First vintage bottled separately. Still very lively ruby with some development at the rim. Clean, fresh, quite intense nose with dried spices and very rich clarety sensation. Nothing at all overripe or over alcoholic. Unctuous, salty palate entry and completely melted tannins. Medium persistence and a great glow of warmth on the palate. Very broad.
