The colour is a pale and yet shimmering yellow/silver. Gorgeous pear and apple aromatics leave one in no doubt as to its varietal identity. We also have appealing notes of florals, citrus and spices, with a line of citrussy acidity. There is focus, energy and balance, with exceptional length. As far as Pinot Gris goes, this one is a cut above. Four to six years. 93.
