Det finns ett spännande steg från en ‘vanlig Grande Cuvée’. På Krug väljer man att lagra ett antal flaskor Krug några år extra efter degorgeringen. Dessa märks på baksidesetiketten med ‘RICHESSE’ (tio år), ‘EQUILIBRE’ (fyra till fem år) & SAVOIR-FAIRE (nästan en ren 2001:a). Kan dessa köpas? Icke! De är referenschampagner på Krug. men jag har faktiskt stött på ett par av dess på mina resor ute i världen.
TASTINGNOTE En regelrätt Grande Cuvée lagrad cirka tio år extra efter degorgeringen i Krugs perfekta källare. Det är ingen hemlighet att dessa viner för en underbart ökad rikedom och nötighet med ålder och i källarna i Reims mår de allra bäst.
