**Note: blended from all 3 grape varieties and from a wide range of vintages and rests at least five years in Krug's cellars after bottling**
Medium rosé hue. A restrained and highly complex nose, that is not especially fruity, displays a moderate yeast character along with slightly exotic aromas of mandarin orange and Asian tea, all wrapped in an enveloping array of beguiling rose petal scents. There is very good richness...

The Story

Krug Rosé is the only prestige cuvee rosé to be blended from a rich palette of wines from three different grape varieties, and from such a wide range of vintages. These are blended with a wonderfully expressive skin-fermented Pinot Noir wine to deliver its unparalleled and characteristic colour and spice. A resting time of at least five years in Krug’s cellars gives Krug Rosé its subtle bubbles and long-lasting elegance. Krug Rosé is everywher...

Wine Information

Krug Rosé is both unexpected and daring. It shows a broad and extensive aromatic palette, unusual for a Rosé Champagne.
As you taste Krug Rosé, you will discover harmonies of puff pastry and red-berry tart, which develop towards honey and citrus fruits.
Its floral accents and notes of dried or stewed fruit will enthral your palate. Its extreme delicacy is enhanced by the subtlety of its fine and elegant bubbles.

Written Notes

Super fresh and bright with musky red fruit aromas as well as gently marzipan scented biscuits on the nose; spices all here too. Great complexity and depth, really elegant, assertive and deep. Long and even, superb depth through the finish. Great wine. Drink young and precocious. Krug ID 313042

A subtle, pale pink. On the nose, aromas of rose hips, cured ham, mulberries, redcurrant, peony, pepper and pink grapefruit are revealed.Puff pastry and red-berry tart develop into flavours reminiscent of honey, citrus and dried fruit with a long finish.

NOTE: 95/100

A ROSÉ WHICH NEVER PLAYS WITH A FLATTERING AND PRIMARY CHARACTER BUT ENHANCES THE DEPTH AND THE FINESSE OF A GRAND CRU, WITH AN INFINITE PERSISTENCE.

Bettane & Desseauve 2015

NOTE: 19/20
