"The 2009 La Cote aux Enfants, Bollinger’s Coteaux Champenois, is stunningly beautiful in this vintage. Layers of warm, radiant fruit emerge gracefully from this elegant, sublime Pinot. The wine’s balance and its potential are both first rate."

Written Notes

2009 Côte aux Enfants Rustic nose with earthy and herbal notes, warm dark red fruit, dark cherry and wild berries. Not very deep or complex. Has a woody note as well Full and round with dark red fruit, red plums and currants. Follows through quite nicely to the medium finish and ads a floral note on the way. Drinkable now but a bit rustic tannins. Now-2016 86p.
