Considering the full development of the'73 R. D., I was afraid that this wine would have seen its best days. Actually they're very similar to one another, and only a tone of hay and toffee separates them. The most recent bottle, young and fresh, was uniquely, beautifully, sublimely fragile, breathing superb, life-rejoicing potential. A wine that madly exhorts to poetry. The latest bottle was sublime perfection.
