<10 tasting notes
In one sentence: Mature, leathery and complex
An evolved and complex wine showing leather, dried plum and savoury tertiary aromas. Full-bodied, with relatively gentle acidity at this stage, alongside notes of orange peel and prunes. Fine-grained tannins and a long, lingering finish give the wine an elegant mature character, with more emphasis on development than primary fruit. Drink now-2030. – JL 92p (Oct 2026)
Food pairing: Slow-braised beef cheek, venison with a prune jus, or roast pigeon with a subtle orange reduction. The developed aromas of leather and dried fruit complement slow-cooked meat and savoury sauces.
