Written Notes

Born from a severe drought-impacted harvest, the 2007 presents a darker, more compact, and savory profile. Aromas of dried black fig, mulberry paste, cured leather, and cigar box lift on the nose, overlaid with charred oak and dried sage. On the palate, it entry is firm and compact, featuring dense, dried black fruit flavors framed by rustic, chewy tannins. It concludes on a dry, savory note with lingering accents of dark cocoa and crushed herbs.
