Bin 707 represents the Penfolds House red wine style at its most rich and powerful. The cabernet fruit is largely drawn from South Australian vineyards in Coonawarra, Padthaway, Barossa Valley – including the famed Block 42 vineyard - and increasingly from Bordertown. Near-optimum rainfall over winter, followed by dry, mild conditions over spring provided a good environment for budburst and an ideal start to the growing season with canopies developing well.
