The Story

Sperss is a term affectionately used to denote nostalgia for precious things lost with time - a homage to the origins of the winery and the generations who built it. Written Notes

Ruby. Cassis, cherries, dark fruits, lots of vanilla nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, anise, spices, cherries, drying finish. 90

Good looking normal size bottle. Colour is brick red and medium. On the nose it is open, intense, refined, generous and rich. The taste is focused, vivid, firm, refined, with drying tannins, and high in acidity, full-bodied, with balanced, well-structured, good texture, complex, concentrated structure and developing. On the palate it is layered and has cigar-box, port-like, smoky and toasty flavours. The finish is long and flavorful. This wine is impressive. Perfectly stored bottles are still very worthy and will last well for another 1-5 years and decant at least 1h before tasting.
