Written Notes

Intense, ruby colour. Ripe black fruit nose with cherries, almonds, earhtiness, touch of smoke. Dry, silky texture with mellow acidity, broad mouthfeel and smooth tannins. Moderately long elegant finish with cherries and restrained fruitiness. Mineral and salty finish. Decant 3 hours and serve at 17C with Sauteed Duck brest and roasted, thyme-flavoured beet root salad. At its peak in 2020-2025.
