The Story

Dagromis Barolo takes its name from the former La Morra estate owner Gromis family. It is an expression of two Barolo terroirs – Serralunga and La Morra. The Nebbiolo grapes from each single vineyard are fermented, macerated and aged for 12 months separately, before being blended and aged for a further 18 months in oak.

Written Notes

Good looking normal size bottle. Colour is ruby red, and looking bright, light and youthful . On the nose it is youthful, refined and closed. The taste is fresh, focused, elegant, vivid, refined, and average in acidity, medium-bodied, with perfectly balanced, complex, well-structured, concentrated structure and youthful. On the palate it is layered and has cherry, toasty, floral, violet and cranberry flavours. The finish is long, lingering and vibrant. This wine is sophisticated. Perfectly stored bottles are still very worthy and will last well for another 10-15 years and decant at least over 4h before tasting.
