Bin 180 is a historic, single-vintage commemorative Special Bin release crafted to celebrate 180 years of Penfolds winemaking (1844–2024). Rather than blending multi-regional fruit in new American oak, Penfolds took a highly refined approach: sourcing 100% cool-climate Terra Rossa fruit from Coonawarra's iconic Block 10 (Cabernet Sauvignon) and Block 5 (Shiraz)—historic parcels that typically feed Grange, Bin 707, and Bin 169—and maturing the wine exclusively in 1-year-old French oak hogsheads.
