The Story

Château Haut-Brion is the oldest and by far the smallest of the "Premiers Grands Crus" vineyards of the Gironde 1855 classification. Sum of temperatures : 3317°C
Rain : 326 mm

Current vintage notes

Vintage 1934

A vintage that is often described as too tannic and harsh, and in many cases this is true. It shows that the harsh tannic wines of Bordeaux will often come if one only has the patience to wait.
