Written Notes

Apparently the same wine as the Coronation Cuvée. Here it held up better in the glass, though. A wonderful base flavor and a lovely, luxurious feel in the mouth.

Good looking normal size bottle, in an good condition and level is 2cm ullage below the cork. Colour is gold, and looking healthy, deep and mature. On the nose it is open, wide, mature, complex, opulent and round. The taste is harmonious, round, elegant, fragrant, medium-bodied, with balanced, well-structured, good texture structure and mature. On the palate it is layered and has mushrooms, nutty, truffles, tropical fruits, toasty, smoky, white fruits, cigar-box and leather flavours. The finish is medium long, round, lingering and flavorful. This wine is transparent, exotic and fine. Perfectly stored bottles are still very worthy and will last well for another 1-5 years.
