Vintage 1914 / Wonderful summer, the harvest took place a fortnight after the Germans left, on 26 September. Small crop but excellent grapes. Average yield/hectare: 2,200 kg. Correct to promising potential. Flowering dragged on causing quite serious coulure in places. Severe attack of mildew in early July, but no notable losses.
